About

DC’s leading portrait, wedding, and event photographer.

Rachel Lincoln is a photographer who has defied categorization within the field—she’s been showcased in trendy restaurants, featured on the covers of novels and magazines, and exhibited in solo and group shows. Rachel has covered everything from weddings to rock concerts, ambassadors to multinational corporations.

Always enthusiastic to share her experiences and impart nearly a decade’s worth of lessons learned working and studying in the field of photography, Rachel hosts both introductory and advanced group workshops and private lessons in the DC-region.

“Between the small Nebraska town where I grew up, to the cities in Europe I’ve lived in and explored, I have become fascinated with people from all walks of life. My photography seeks to bring out the best version of each of my subjects. I have been humbled by the trust that each client puts in me as a photographer – the faith that I will capture their moments beautifully and memorably.”

Rachel holds a BS in Business and French Language from The American University, and an MA in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran College of Art + Design. She speaks French, Spanish, and some Arabic.
